6 Marvellous months: New sites, new campaigns and brand new ads

Phew! Where does the time go? We’re already halfway through the year, so we thought it would be the perfect time to talk about all the things we’ve done so far – all the site launches, new clients, new campaigns and cool marketing stuff we’ve created in the first half of 2016.

Tatiana Tafur

One of our most exciting website launches of the year has been Tatiana Tafur, a high-end furniture and wallcovering shop based on the prestigious King’s Road – part of the vibrant Chelsea Design Quarter.

We worked across all aspects of the website, crafting the navigation, developing the branding and producing the content to fill the elegantly designed pages.

Our team had to overcome plenty of challenges – a tight deadline, doing justice to the beautiful furniture on offer and getting to grips with the nomenclature of the interior design world. The end result is a minimal, elegant experience that’s already generating enquiries.

Marvellous advertising

Our rebrand this year (RIP Label Media) meant we had to develop lots of different brand components. We created a new tone of voice (more fun, less buzzwords), made a brand new website (you’re currently on it) and crafted a dynamic new design style.

One of the coolest things we’ve done – which you may have spotted in the more trendy areas of Leeds city centre – is an advertisement inside the new Little Black Book:

Our in-house creative term came up with this idea, with Tom, our lead designer, working on the layout, colour scheme and creating the cool 90s inspired pattern, while Klaudia, our designer, illustrated the cool, telescope brandishing characters. Our copywriter produced the strapline.

The Art Shop Skipton

We also launched The Art Shop Skipton website this year – a thoroughly enjoyable project made even better by a great client and some creative ideas making it right through to the finished product.

Personally, I was super excited to see this website go live! The creative team put a lot of effort into coming up with interesting concepts to include on the website, including personal staff recommendations, a vibrant colour scheme and a specially chosen artist quote for each category page.

We also came up creating an illustrated profile for each member of The Art Shop Skipton’s staff. These charming pictures accompanied an individual bio our copywriter helped to create and can be found on the ‘about’ page (another page our writing team helped out with).

The Art Shop Skipton has a brilliant reputation for stocking amazing quality, affordable art suppliers, so we’re sure this new website will help them grow even larger.

We didn’t just design the website, we helped to create a bunch of lovely print material to promote the launch, including the above leaflet!

Dock 29

Dock 29 is the latest food and drink brand who we helped get online. The deadline was mega quick and we managed to turn this project around in under 2 weeks!

The new site has all the key functionality Dock 29 required, including easy-to-manage event listings, an integrated Instagram feed and easily downloadable menus.

We turned the site around in just 2 weeks – one of the fastest complete websites we’ve ever created. This was mainly due to the client giving us a lot of creative freedom, while providing lovely photography and a clear concept of the functionality they required – a recipe for a high performing website.
